Quick question which seems to have mixed responses throughout the board: What is the damage bonus for a two-handed mace that lands a crushing blow? Seems it's either +50% or +100%. And, is this bonus calculated pre-Anatomy/Strength/Tactics bonuses, or does it include and increase them as well? EDIT to reflect topics below as well
Re: Damage amount of Crushing Blow The damage modifier for crushing blows is a damage * 1.5 (+50%) addition. I believe the extra damage comes last, after all of the previous calculations but will have to check to be certain on that.
Re: Damage amount of Crushing Blow Awesome, thanks. While I'm on the subject of combat mechanics, a couple of questions about this patch: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=1253 So if a weapon does, say, 1d15+3 damage, for a minimum damage of 4, that means that no matter how well-armored I am, and how weak and inept (low tactics/anatomy) my foe is, any hit they make will be for a minimum of 4 damage? Or does "base damage" also include tactics, strength and anatomy bonuses? Does this mean if I'm an archer, standing toe-to-toe with a swordsman and we're swinging at each other, my bow will hit 100% of the time since they have 0 Wrestling? (Or perhaps, 75% of the time if they have 100 Anatomy, and thus 50% "defensive wrestling"?) * * * * * Finally, is there a table of weapon damages and weapon speed anywhere?
