I am not going to write a book here and try to get straight to the point. There has been a lot of events lately that has caused the OU:R population to diminish slightly (School starting up, life priorities, some quitting for misc other reasons..) Today I saw (my personal) low as far as clients logged in: A lot of you that play here regularly have a lot of time vested into this server. It is overall a great place to play with minor issues and a high server availability / uptime. To the point - In an effort to bring some new blood and get the word out, I have posted on the first page of videos via youtube search for Ultime Online: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=ultima online It took me all of 3 minutes or so to paste the information into all of those videos, and while a lot of people find that annoying, it does ultimately make the server known. If you guys can help do the same or like the comments that are currently out there so they stay at the top that is one contribution that we can make an attempt to get more people into the server we love to play. My post was just quickly made and probably can be better (listing the features of the server etc), but like I said, it was a quick and dirty...
Well played sir! Do your part to upvote relevant threads on Reddit if you're active there as well. Posting about the shard to various neutral gaming forums is another great place to get the word out. If I were to take it upon myself to make bumper stickers and such, how many folks would be into it?
Please add any input you may have as far as other ideas of how to spread the word to get the server out there.
The neutral gaming sites is a good idea. I don't have enough accounts on random sites like that (and I honestly don't use reddit), but I youtube like a mofo. But I know a lot of people use all of these and can take 5 minutes or less to assist.
I've posted a few comments on the tube today and I troll reddit once a week or so. If you've got anything going on that I can bandicam and make an nice video of, get in touch. This goes for anyone willing to have me come by and play camera man.
