Does accurate archery weapons up archery above 100 (in terms of calculation) in the same way that happens with Tactics modifiers? Another question, all game calculations and success % are calculated using shown or real skills? Thanks!
Can't answer first one, but success is based on shown skill afaik. The shown skill is the real skill + bonus from it's associated stat(s). As you progress toward GM the bonus is slowly overtaken by the actual skill.
The accuracy bonus increases archery instead of tactics. This means your hit chances increase and not the dmg per hit. But as the chance to hit is impprtant too, you definitely want to GM archery.
GMing archery really isn't that bad. I thought it was going to be and made 30k arrows for 3 archers. (10k per was my guess) GMed all 3 archers and used less than half of what I made. I have stock for a bit...
If you sell at good price im listening! Also, how do you made that amount? You gather the resources by yourself or you buy and then make the arrows?
Gathered the feathers (Covetous lvl 1 harpies) got some pec meat in the process Gathered about 10k of the wood and bough the rest being impatient. Don't plan on selling any atm.
If you have a decent bard, you can actually make the money to buy them straight off npc vendors. You'll get your arrows faster and I'm pretty sure it's better financially. Takes some times to round up the feathers and wood to make them yourself. If you have a bunch of wood on hand, then you can even just buy feathers from Bowyer npcs which I think are 2gp a piece. That's what I did at least the last time I made an archer. You'll just have to rack up the bowyers to sell 999 until you have the amount of arrows purchased that you need
About the shown skill vs base skill. I can leave then 90 shown skills in Anatomy & Healig (even if they are at 87/86 base skills) and get the benefits of 90 skills in both? My char is: GM Archery/Tactics/Resist/Music/Provo 90 Anatomy/90 Healing rest in magery (to be able to recall using scrolls more or less)
Another question in Weapon damage spreadsheet they add 30% at GM Anatomy, but in the UO R web says Anatomy adds 2% per each 10 skill points with a 20% at GM. Is it something wrong? In this case I dont see much difference between 16% at 80 and 20% at GM in terms of damage when I update the spreadsheet. So Even I could go with a mix of 80/80 Anat/Healing and rest in Magery.
There is a additional 10% when hitting GM anatomy. If it's not in the homepage, it's somewhere hidden in the patch notes... If you have 90 skill in anatomy or healing (real + stat bonus), then you really SHOULD have the benefits of it. The problem is, nobody can tell you for sure and guaranteed because we don't have access to the code. But I am certaim that the bonus is depending on the actual skill value (not the points that have bern spent).
In that case there is boost from non GM and GM anatomy as I can appreciate in the spreadsheet. I'll GM Anatomy and leave 80 healing. And go with 20 to have a 60% success with scrolls for recall. Also i can check if Healing works with shown skill because I can calculate min and max damage healed and if I'm able to resurrect. Finally the template will be: GM Archery/Tactcics/Anatomy/Resist/Music/Provo 80 Healing (shown) rest in Magery
Nice build, it's nice cause the 100% success with 4th circle. But I'm going to test first with Resist option.
