...existed only in Trammel on shards that didn't follow the Siege Perilous ruleset? Or was there a Fellucia version of it as well? A friend of mine is trying to convince me that a screenshot is from Catskills Ilshenar in Fellucia. That's why I ask.
Tram only from what I recall. Everything was tram ruleset once there was a Trammel except for Fel (Could be wrong)
Thanks for the information. I didn't spent much time in Ilshenar, except for one shrine (Honor?) which was a hot spot for PKs / PVP. I assumed there was both a Trammel and a Felluca version.

....Ish was alright. That was the one where you had gates based on the Shrines. Some cool content came out of that land if I remember my timing correctly (although the 3rd dawn client was AWFULLLLLLLLL) Malas and Japan were awful - didn't play live, but on other freeshards i've seen them - worthless. A lot of it seemed just flat for no reason but housing w/out the texture that the original maps had.
I seem to recall having a 3rd Dawn client CD at one point in my life and seeing screenshots of it. That's about it. I quit around the time I got a Trammel moonstone.
Imagine a version of T2A with better terrain and mobs but worse in terms of accessibility. You can't gate anywhere once you're inside of it, it's all travel by foot. You also had bankers and other shopkeepers in random camps around the map, so in theory I guess you could live out of your bank box. People mostly fought over control over the moon gates (Honor and Spirituality mostly) since the guild that controlled that controlled access to the better overland farming spawns.
I truly long for a land that is entirely blocked for Recall, Mark and Gate functions. Perhaps we can come up with a dungeon concept that blocks all of those things, has exit gates or various teleporters to get you to town or other un-campable locations. I highly recommend such application to all Orc caves, along with mount restrictions for awesome RP times.
That would be cool. I'd even say that if there was a bola that only worked in this dungeon that you could get some really interesting fights going between unmounted orcs and the mounted humies that would dare to go after them. That was a cat and mouse game that was always fun. I miss eating horses on my orc.
