Good Morning, I want to make a magician character and I have doubts. (No a dexxer one) On the web, evaluating intelligence says that the effect of evaluating intelligence along with anatomy does the effect of wrestling, but in many templates I see all three skills together. Does wrestling add anything to those other two or is it a waste of skill? The skills that I have for sure are: magery, evaluating intelligence, meditation, resisting spells, anatomy, healing, and I was planning to put wrestling but if it would be to have the skill duplicated then perhaps it would poisoning. What do you think of wrestling along with anatomy and evaluating intelligence?
I have this exact build on the toon I use as a heal bot for public events. I don't really use her for much more than that. Maybe PvP later on, like @One says. I have a scribe mage that isn't bad for melting mid-level mobs, but she can get overwhelmed easily.
Yes Anatomy + Eval does = Wrestling but without Wrestling you lose the ability to use Stun Punch, which is very relied upon for PvP mages. If you want to run a super defensive build, you can run Healing without Stun by pairing it with Scribe or Hiding. Poisoning will not find as much use due to the ability to cure poison so easily. Option 1: HealStun (most PvP mages are this) Mage Medi Eval Resist Anat Healing Wrestling Option 2: HealScribe Mage Medi Eval Resist Anat Healing Scribe Option 3: HealHide Mage Medi Eval Resist Anat Healing Hiding Option 4: HealPoison Mage Medi Eval Resist Anat Healing Poisoning If you want to survive on just Magery healing rather than bandages, more Stunmage options open, if you keep Wrestling. Option 5: ScribeStun Mage Medi Eval Resist Anat Wrestling Scribe Option 6: PoisonStun Mage Medi Eval Resist Anat Wrestling Poison Option 7: HideStun Mage Medi Eval Resist Anat Wrestling Hiding Option 8: TrackingStun Mage Medi Eval Resist Anat Wrestling Tracking You can also get away without any Wrestling or Anatomy, and still have a 25% defensive chance off of Eval alone. Its not the best in PvP, but you can stay range from attackers, defensive chance has very little impact on survival, as most damage comes from Magic.
