Re: Gideon's New Player Housing Hello Gideon, Me and my Girlfriend started playing on UOR yesterday, i had a blast with this shard, it remember me so much when i played in Europa with my boxed UO:R (i started with that). At the moment we are making 2 warriors for making some money around the world and then moving to more complex characters (she want a tamer obviously ^^). If you have one of those houses empty we would like to take advantage of it while we make the money for buying our own home, our characters name in game for now are "John" and "Jane".

Re: Gideon's New Player Housing Thanks Gideon! We are splattering blood on the house walls, i hope it's not a problem
Re: Gideon's New Player Housing This produced some very graphic images in my mind when thinking of a young couple in their new home. -_-
Re: Gideon's New Player Housing Nice work Gideon, Thanks for taking the time to help out some of our newer players.
I don't have pictures yet but have been trying to prep up the houses (addons, runebooks, etc). Here's what I have right now though only the Small Tower is "furnished" so far. - Small Tower at Serpent's Hold, next to the stable. - Log Cabin just off the West Moonglow city gate (also near the PVP arena). - Sandstone Patio far north of the Yew Moongate. I have a couple healers available for magery macroing sessions for new players, though we'd probably do this in a diferent house. Aris
I managed to train my char Ulamog for taming and handling dragons, i think this will be our last week end in the kindly offered newbie house, we will take a our own soon
I just started up on the shard last night. I was greeted pretty quickly by a GM that welcomed me to the party which was a pretty nice touch. Anyway, if you currently have any apartments that I could squat in for a few weeks that would be awesome. I played on Chessy from around 97- a few months after AoS (whenever that was). I'll probably play fairly casually during the week and put my hours in during the weekends. Currently making a dex monkey until I get on my feet. Thanks!
So I decided that I would tough it out and work for my first house instead of taking the easy way out and renting. After I decided that I was going to stick around the shard for quite a while, I finally got enough saved up last night for a small starter hut. I'll prob look into joining a guild shortly now that I've got a foothold. Thanks and see ya around!
