DPS of War Axe?

I've been wondering the dps of a war axe for awhile. I have a dps spreadsheet, can anyone tell me what the war axe is similar to?

The damage of it is pretty good to be honest.

If i fight Katana vs Waraxe it seems like the axe is doing slightly more damage, but they are pretty comparable i believe.

It totally depends on the armor of what you're hitting. War axe has the same average base damage as the war fork, but the war axe is about 10% slower in swing speed. And since the war fork rolls less dice, it will punch through armor more often.

Against a well armored opponent, I think the war axe is most similar to the scimitar and thus a little worse than the cutlass and broad sword. I think a katana will do more DPS against anything with less than 60 AR.

yeah, i did it with 31AR Barbed Suits, but the damage will fall off against monsters or opponents with a higher value.

Scimitar is probably the closest
