    19.) Poison Chairs of Death
    • 2 opponents sit in chairs facing eachother, 2 tile apart (So a single poison field will hit both contestants but no melee contact)
    • No moving allowed
    • Fight till the death (while sitting in a persistent poison field casted by host)
I can't remember the details of this event (ie... are archers allowed? ... probably not; as it'd be by far the winning template IMHO) as I only attended a few way back when on Lake Superior... but I'm sure we could brainstorm up a nice set of rules.

    LETS GET GIDE-ON UP'D SONSSSSSS!!!

We could also seek employment of certain crimson stature to act as "bouncers" to punish un-authorized bar exits or singing in a way we deem lame

Another version of this could involve only using random items found in the bar and used in opportunistic fashion.

one thing that's been on my mind lately is doing a "who's team can kill the most bosses in X time" or something along those lines..

Scavenger hunt broken into teams instead? ahhhh

    who can.....

have the strongest, last-living trained mongbat in an arena-style showdown?
    kill the most bosses
find the most npc's with a certain letter name (first screenshot time wins no copycats!)
LOL tame the widest ostard color collection
post the most pictures of me dying (even though they're a year old since i'm way over green) CrazyDaze :D
    slaughter the most dolphins
kill the most thieves guild members in town (detect hidden anyone???)

idk. feel free to add. we can split me and crazy up for once and let us compete against each other!

    Snake Pit

Corral a silver serpent into a small pen. A peacemaker will calm the beast right before several participants armed with only a gray robe and a red bandanna step into the ring. We used a gate from another location to help enhance the onset of terror! The door is sealed shut, the peacemaking timer wears off, and fun ensues!

The last participant standing is the winner or in most cases, last to die.

    Running of The Fools

Participants must successfully navigate a predetermined route from the woods, inside a dungeon, through each level to a predetermined finish line. Last one standing wins or the participant that leaves a corpse closest to the finish line wins :)

The catch is participants are stripped of all gear and given one gray robe, no stealth but a tactical hide is okay.

    The Dying Line

A row of several treasure chests on one side, a row of several participants on the other, combined with many random outcomes make this event a chaotic experience!

Participants armed with only an axe stand at the ready, awaiting for the word, GO! What will happen? Who knows!?!

Each chest has a different outcome, some with a prize inside, others with a a gag gift, and most are GM tinker trapped... Of which some contain a prize and others don't. Participants slowly realize that when the trap kills them, the prize is left on the floor for someone to scoop up. It eventually leads to a waiting game and tactful negotiation.

Overall, isn't it fun to watch people explode?

    Optional: a Rez station.

An old game I haven't played or hosted in years was DodjGoBoom, which I first heard of I think by a goblin RPer named Kri'Got 15 years ago or so. It works best on shards where potions aren't always identified but can be done otherwise. Maybe removes randomness and adds strategy.

Basically you build a small court out of boxes (or whatever) and have one or two full of explode potions. Team members enter with nothing but 0 ar clothes or robes. No healing. Just grabbing pots, throwing them and running around chaoticly until everyone on one team is dead.

It is great fun when done right. Razor macros could ruin it and/or if heat seeking purples exist here (I think it doesn't). We had 2 people teams in mini tourneys but other variants work.

Had an idea pop into the ole noggin a few nights ago...

    Dredging up the Deep

Idea is to secure a section of open water with a boat border(maybe 3x3 boat lengths) and then center a small boat in the middle. Anchor down and begin casting a large(10, 20, 30??) amount of nets(maybe a few fisherman to help bring up what lurks in the deep). And then let the mayhem begin!!

Players are to be located on the small boat only, no pets?? The only time a player may leave the boat is if a pirate ship is brought forth from the deep.

Go till all nets are cast and all baddies are dead or...the in thinkable happens and we all perish!

Ideal situation would be a large amount of players and a insane amount of nets at a time..100+ and hope the fireballs are staggered!!

I think there's a limit on the amount of things that come up brought about by other spawns blocking them from spawning, though?

Isn't that how it works here?

Well that puts a damper on things! Thanks for the info, I'll have to find out what that limit is if there is one here.

We did this once. It was fun. Every single person died and we had to get Telamon to save us.
