Class: Events 102 Class Name: Player vs Player Tournaments -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Welcome to Renaissances overview of the Player vs Player Tournaments. This post will detail some of the event basics of the event, how to sign up, and how to play. The Basics Player vs Player Tournaments pit players against each other in a test of combat/magic skills in a confined arena. The tournaments take place in an arena located outside of Delucia. Once a player joins the tournament they are sequestered in a safe zone inside the arena. The winner of each tournament will receive a trophy signifying their victory that when double clicked will offer to take them to the event results page for that tournament. All Tournament stats are tracked and updated on the Renaissance website for player specific ranking, leaderboards and monthly ladders. How to Sign Up When there is an event announcement you can go to a variety of places to sign up for the Tournament. Event centers are located in Britian, Skara Brae, Trinsic, Vesper and Bucs Den. You can also sign up at the Delucia Barracks. ONce you sign up for the event you can go about your business, however 60 seconds before the event begins you will be pulled, along with your horse, to the safe zone. Leaving this zone before or during the event will result in your removal, disqualification from the event. Signing up for the event at the Delucia Barracks or one of the other designated sign up locations ~ Britian ~ ~ Bucs Den ~ ~ Trinsic ~ ~ Vesper ~ The Exit gate in the event safe zone. During the Event Once the event begins you will be pulled into a match with your opponent. Your horse will be left in the safe zone until the event is complete Once you are pulled you bank will open allowing you 10 seconds to grab supplies before the match. After 10 seconds the wall of stone will be removed and the event will begin. Players not involved in a match can watch from the safe zone, and using a teleporter switch sides to watch any active match. Make sure you do not leave the safe zone during the event because this will register as a loss Players waiting for their match, and some players watching the event An epic pickaxe duel Several matches in progress After the Event Should the event have more than 4 participants a trophy will be awarded to the victor. When double clicked this trophy will give a player the option of seeing the webpage for the event. The more players that participate in the event, the better the color of the trophy. From Bronze to Valorite. Players will have 5 minutes to collect their mounts and exit the event safe zone after the event.
