Class: Events 201 Class Name: Night of Horrors Halloween Challenge Event -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Welcome to Renaissances overview of the Night of Horrors Halloween Challenge Event. This post will detail some of the event basics of the event, how to sign up, and how to play. This event runs from October 23rd to November 7th and on special occasions. Rather than single day holiday events, Renaissance will have multiple events that will span the Holiday. This event will be a PvM event designed to test players ability to work with limited resources to survive against the undead hoards that have taken over moonglow. Details: Players will only be allowed to take a spellbook and any blessed/newbie items with them into the event. Any items not matching these items will be neatly placed into your bank when you sign up for the event. Players will be able to keep any items that they scavenger or loot during the event. This event will take place under a restricted ruleset where aggression between players is disabled. Players will earn points by killing monsters and surviving during the event. Points can be scored by Bard Controlled, Summoned, and Magically Controlled creatures. The harder the undead monster, the more points you can score. You can review your score by double clicking on the scoreboard in the safe zone. The Undead hoards, being formerly living beings will be carrying essential supplies needed to survive the event. Previous survivors have stashed other essential items in the safe zone and throughout the town for players brave enough to look for them. During the Event Should you succumb to the undead hoards, fear not, you will be able to respawn in the safe zone after a short delay. Players who complete the event will receive a Halloween Gift bag, however you must actively participate in the event to review a reward. This event has been designed for new to experienced players, and is geared towards PvM Characters, Bards and Mages. You will be able to keep any items you find during the event, however should you die items will have to be recovered from your corpse. This event will run for 1 hour, to see the times that the event will run, check the town crier section of the Renassance website. Event Rewards Below are some,but not all, of the items that can be found during this event. The winner of the event will receive a trophy to commemorate their accomplishment. Players who actively participate in the event will receive a Happy Halloween Bag containing 4 of the following items. Players that are brave enough to fight back the undead hoard can find one of the following items on the undead commanders.
