With a heavy heart we say goodbye to our Ultima Online home. It has become increasingly difficult to commit to capturing uncontested sigils with thirty dank nuggets and maintaining five players on the battlefield for each of our opponents. Every day more new players manage to GM skills before our Sideshow Bob grief squads can chase them off the server. With our summer schedule filled with scrimmages for our pro Minecraft e-sports team and qualifying for regionals in our live action roleplay league, I no longer see how our guild can meet Liberation's standards for discouraging new players. To bart I bequeath all my belongings and apologize for not letting you in the guild. You were like a son to me. To Blaise I salute you for your commitment to pvp excellence and four years of great ideas that truly helped develop the direction of this great shard. Not only are you a true pvper - you are a goddamn legend. I'm sure when you pass on from this world your headstone will be etched with your greatest accomplishments like your post count. Westra is Pork Fried Rice, I refuse to keep that secret any longer. Goodbye!
I don't know what makes me laugh more... this thread or the people rushing to tell everyone, "omfg mes is quitting?!?11one"
Thank you for all the fun times. I knew that night a couple years ago when we had our rl guild meeting and you sat us down to tell us the guilds plans and you busted out that amazing flute you carved and played the uo song for us that the fun was just beginning. You are all awesome guys.
After the Blaisendorf video, this was a real let down. I'll keep my hopes up for next year being something worth reading.
