Hello - Has anyone been able to resurrect while "gray" in town at an Ankh? I'm trying to curb the pains of training forensics and I can't seem to get the ankh in Trinsic to resurrect me either gray or blue.
Thanks Lutz but, I worked out the problem a different way. I am gaining off of "unable to determines" when evaluating a live NPC beggar. I began this venture at 37 (real... the only value worth mentioning) and am now at 41. I think all training guides involving forensic evaluation here point to training off an NPC @ 45.
I trained forensics in the sewers of Britain. After I Gm'd a weapon skill and tactics I moved down there and killed rats and horny toads then examined their corpses. I've found I can now identify any kind of rat (Winks at Blackeye).
Thanks for the replies and I'll remember where that ankh is if I ever need one moving forward. I think the interesting point that hasn't been noticed is, my experience with training forensic evaluation counters the compendium guide. Again, I trained off an NPC with < 45 real skill. Cheers.
I used 2 accounts. One person just walked at the ankh in the middle of yew bank (yes there is one there), while running a "click accept to res" macro. The other person just say next to them and used forensics on the corpses "by type". It was really easy. I did this all the way to gm, and invited some other people to come macro forensics off my dead person too.
Hmm, I wonder is it me that's missing the point I've made twice now or everyone else. ***** The method I inquired about has been circumnavigated for something vastly superior ( opinion). ***** The guide initially mislead me. I thought I had to sort out the gap between npc paid training and 45 skill. I have learned that this is not the case. *grabs the microphone* Ahem... I have been gaining off an NPC begger since a little over 37 real skill. I am GM now. I'd hazard a guess I could have started at around 35. Thank you for coming out. Please drive home safely. moving on...
