All, I need your assistance here. I do remember that back on OSI, when a character had GM poisoning, they were able to not only cast a higher level of poison on an enemy (DP was possible within a few tiles), but it would also increase the chance significantly for the poison to bypass the opponent's magic resist, allowing poison to land nearly every time guaranteed. I do not personally have a poisoner on here, but I was fighting a buddy who has it and the mechanics I remember were not working properly. I am trying to find some documentation on this now, but would like some assistance from others if they have some good sources to find specific patch number and patching info. Please post links here to credible resources. Free shard / custom shard websites would not necessarily be considered 'credible', but post anything you find and we can weed out anything not needed.
In my opinion poisoning never factored into a resist check. It does feel like poisons get resisted more often here and I wouldn't be opposed to some change happening to give more credibility to the skill for casters.
