I have a large tower and a guild of 5-10 players. My security is as follows, box with key to front door [Friends] First floor room (my room) box with [owner only] Second and Third floors with boxes [co owners] The main floor, hallways and roof are accessible to anyone. The 2nd and 3rd floor rooms are for guild members only, (not recruits or friends) as it has items, wepons, armor, regs, etc locked away in the rooms. My question is, the guild members have houses of thier own , therefore can not be cowned to the tower or have their own secured strongboxes. This has always puzzled me. Should there be new ranks to secure containers or doors? How do other big guilds get around this?
The best thing for your guildmates to do is transfer their houses to an alternate character they have... then get co-owned to your tower... then transfer their house back to their guild character. There has been a bunch of feedback about the system as it currently stands, and I think the shard admins would be amenable to improving the system, so if you have any ideas I am sure they would be worth sharing for consideration.
Idea, New ranks added to house menu, Friend/Guild Recruit/Guild Member/Guild Officer/Cowner/Owner The secured container gump/menu reflecting this.
I see where transferring house to alt char would allow the guild member to place a strong box with their own key at door there allowed access to. I will try that.
