Like any game, there are rules. Be it baseball, football, chess, or Iron Chef, they all have rules to make it fun and competitive. Rules are just something that everyone agrees to abide by in the spirit of competition.

That being said, would there be interest in something I like to call UO TACTICS.

Basically its a guild whos sole function is to compete in red vs blue style events with heavy restrictions to character skills, armor, and equipment. Events like capture the flag, attacker/defender, bagball, president, deathmatch exc....

The restrictions to characters go something like this:
*this is not the complete skillset, its just an example for consideration

    Warrior:
Available skills: All martal skills, Tactics, Anatomy
    Banned Skills: Healing, Magery, Hiding,
Available Equipment: All Weapons and Armor
Uniform: Dark red or Blue with any non white or black accents

    Cleric
Available Skills: Magery, Healing, Anatomy, Meditation, Wrestling, Arms Lore, Parry
Banned Skills: Evaluating Intelligence, Tactics, Poisoning
    Available Equipment: Shields, Gnarled Staffs
Banned Equipment: All armor, All weapons except gnarled staves and shields
Spellbook: Heal, Cure, Arch Cure, Greater Heal, Protection, Bless exc....
Uniform: Lightest Red or Blue with White accents

Thats just an example to whet your whistle. If theres interest Ill flesh out the entirety of the ruleset. It all boils down to making characters that fit a role and playing that role. Something different from the standard warrior/mage.

Basically breaking it down to something like:
Warriors hit and shoot stuff and throw potions
Mages cast spells from their school (Cleric(white mage), Wizard(black mage), Warlock(elemental Summons and debuffs)
Rogues stealth around and are restricted to less damaging weapons that can be poisoned and steal objectives and stuff from other players

Fitting into that mold of Characters we compete in murder count free events in towns and other parts of the world. MANY Referees are used to ensure fair play and protect from outside influence.

So would yall be interested in something like this?

I would play that if it were a single-player game.
