Hi all, I would like to dust off my main char here. It's my mage scribe. I trained a tamer as I needed some incoming, but I tired soo fast from him, it's a bit boring for me, and I don't like play too many chars. I played always a scribe mage in OSI during years as a main (for PvP and PvM). But it seems here is more difficult do some PvM with this template on this shard (I loss here the dmg bonus which I was using in OSI to get high damage on Champs). GM (Magery/Eva/Med/Resist/Anatomy/Wrestling/Inscription). Maybe is only change the place for earn money or simply go as Pk and earn money from other players Or go for a tank hybrid and go for medium lvl mobs. Any suggestion is welcome!
Thanks for the answer. I know about bards, I have one Peace-Dexxer at the moment, but usuallly I get tired of it right away. But I would like to give a try to my Mage even in PvM. I don't need to earn too much money so I don't need to go hunt big monsters. I was thinking in drop Wrest for Meace weapons and use Qstaff, or go with Fencing for Para Blow. But I don't know if without tactics is going to help (even using slayers), and for the moment, I'm not thinking in drop inscription.
PvM with scribe mage is fine if you accept: -Blade spirit dragons, drakes, and wyverns at Destard or Fire Temple or Wind. -Blade spirit Ogre Lords in Despise or Arctic Ogre Lords in Ice Dungeon or Ice Lands in T2A outside the dungeon. Good money, good fame, tons of people so be ready to fight and take collateral damage and a few accidental murder counts. Those blades don't discriminate. None of those creatures dispel
They won't in the wild. Their magery has to be trained to pull it off. Once trained they will dispel all the time but dragons and mares in the wild are too low in skills to dispel.
Not if you know how to cast them close enough to the creature that it will aggro the EV instead of you.
