House economy on Renaissance

Hi All,

I am curious about the house economy on this server, as I see many average properties sold to others who clearly have a lot of money and several properties already.

Is there not a three account limit per person and thus a three property limit? I understand this is hard to enforce...

Each character can own a property, so a player can 'legally' own fifteen, not three.

Welcome mindkrall! There is a three account limit, but each character is allowed a house, so with five characters per account, a player may own up to 15 houses.

It is worth noting that while every player can own 15 houses, very few actually do. Telamon pointed out last year that the average amount of houses on an account that owns at least one house is around 1.4 per account.

I have 2 accounts and only own 1 house. Dont need more then that as otherwise it'll be too painful for me to refresh and restock stuff

I think that most fairly newish players go through the same phase. Place every house they see. It's fun.

I think that most fairly veterenish players go through the same phase. Sell off every house they have save one or two and lament previously filling the others with crap they now have to get rid of (see: hoarding) for various reasons... especially "CUB".
