Hey all, I'm rather new to UOR and have killed enough low level things to purchase a house deed.

I noticed in searching the threads here that there is/was something called the land rush, and that only certain areas were open to housing.

Is that still in effect, and if so, how can I find some information on where I can place a house? Obviously don't want to run around the woods with a house deed guessing.

Thanks, and great shard so far.

Nay Land Rush ended quite some time ago. If you need some help placing hop in the chat channel and people should be able to answer any questions you have. So long as you keep that deed in your main back pack it can't be stolen or looted.

I'm pretty sure you could place anything besides a tower up. (villas, large bricks, L shapes would all go down pretty easy)

you can place towers still. Pm elhorno in irc if you want me to show you some really nice options for placing some houses. Even if you only have a small now, it will block the spot and you can upgrade when ready.
