I'm curious how I might test certain areas to see what type/size of houses would fit. I looked through the architect NPC's goods but didn't see a house placement tool or anything similar. I was also wondering... when it comes time to demolish my current house, does the house simply disappear or does the deed get returned to me for sale back to the NPC?
The best bet is to jump on the test server and try it for yourself. test.uorenaissance.com port: 2597 If you demolish an existing house you will get the deed in your backpack. If you drop that deed on a Real Estate Broker (in carpentry shops) you will get a check for the full value in your bank box.
