Everytime me or my gf logs in this newbie thing pops up and she hits ok accidently sometimes, and gets teleported to occlo. We leave occlo, yet next time we log in its there again. Even after unchecking it.
The menu will only show up for the first 7 days, however checking the box at the bottom of the young program screen should make it go away, on that account. Also you can right click on the menu as well. If she is having trouble with that not working, let me know and I will take a look.
I too had issues with the newbie gump. Checking the "go away" box did not work for me, on any account. It's possible I wasn't properly closing the UO client though, if that's a client-side saved setting, like the rest of the stuff (where you put your paperdoll, how you organize your screen, etc.)
Tracked it down. Looks like I had that button linked incorrectly to another command (show the news page) so it wasn't actually setting the flag properly. I can manually set this flag if it is still giving anyone trouble, but it should go away after 7 days. If you want me to set this manually just page ingame or contact me on IRC.
