i am trying to connect to the irc chatroom and getting this. any ideas?

    Download Pidgin and use that as your IRC client. Way better than the web-based IRC.

    ok i downloaded Pidgin, is there a port or site i need to enter? i am so sorry, i am NOT computer savvy lol, i play UO watch movies and check emails :p
