Finally stopped lurking to post this story, been on this server about two weeks actively, I'm a UO vet but grossly out of practice. Me on my almost done provo dexer and my little brother on his mage in progress got jumped at arctic ogre lords. Slutty Mc something or other the name. So I'm thinking 2v1 eh we got a shot. Got her poisoned couldn't get a para blow but thought I had her on the run when she ran around a house and stopped moving, I ran face first into an explosion double mind blast that left said face on the ground. Noob coward little brother runs and hides I get rezzed by a wandering thats standing on my corpse and start wrestling her as she loots me, she was clearly intimidated because she ran off in the direction of little bro. Anyways I end up coming across the vendor house this post is about, see Slutty comin back so I hide. She tracks me, reveals me, and says the single greatest thing I've heard in ages. S- "Are you restocking?" Me- "Seems a little steep." (meaning no cuz you're waiting for me to to make me worth killing again) S- "Well if you do I won't kill you...this is my house ". I laughed harder than any other random encounter in this game. Just to clarify the beauty of this vendor house is you get pkd at Ice, and "conveniently" said pk sells you back all your regs for 7k. It is hilarious, brilliant, and so fantastically capitalist that it tickled me in the best possible way. tldr: Lose all your regs? Buy em back at mark up. Someone put this guy on Wall Street.
