Buenos días, llevo unas dos semanas en el server y he comprado una casa "a large brick house" y recurro aquí al foro para ver si me podéis ayudar. He recorrido prácticamente todo el mapa esquina por esquina, isla por isla, intentando colocarla y es imposible, está todo lleno de castillos, fortalezas, torres, y el más minúsculo lugar donde podría caber está ocupado por casas de menor tamaño. En fin, si alguien ve un sitio donde colocarla, ya me da igual el lugar, con tal de ponerla, se lo agradecería. Un saludo P.D.: Quizás debería revisarse el número de casas por cuenta. Si una sola persona tiene tres cuentas, a cinco personajes por cuenta son quince casas por jugador. If a single person has three accounts, five characters per account are fifteen houses per player. With the number of players there is it is physically impossible for new players to have room to put their house
Yes. That is correct. And unfortunate. This server has an almost catastrophic status in regards to house hoarding & refreshing of vacant & unused homes by friends of players who’ve quit. It’s a problem that’s been going on long before I started playing here years ago, and will more than likely not be addressed any time soon. My advice for you is to go and sell that deed back and post a WTB thread in the Auction sub forum stating your budget and preferences in order to get a large brick - or - carry on traipsing the map. Although unlikely, you may get lucky. I’d also suggest turning trees to stumps & removing vegetation as these can make it harder to see a spot in a jungle for example.
Most new players don't expect to place something the size of a large brick in their first two weeks! You should follow the advice of others here, sell it back to the real estate agent and post a thread in the forums. Otherwise, there are definitely places to place a villa. La mayor parte de los jugadores nuevos no esperan colocar una casa del tamaño de un "large brick" en los primeros dos semanas! Debes sequir los avisos de los otros aquí, véndela a vendedor de bienes raíces y escribe en los forums. Si no quieres espera hasta que otra persona vende una casa de brick, es cierto que hay lugares para colocar una villa o small stone tower.
@Tanke I have an L-shape north of the Brit Crossroads that I will part with for deed price, if you're interested. I have more than my share of houses here, and I'm glad to help. If you have your heart set on a brick house, I can demolish the L-shape, place a brick, and we can just trade deed for house.
@FartBarf!! That would be great!! yes, I would like to put the brick house because I chose that one for its spaciousness and simplicity. Tell me what can i do to put it on and i will I can connect right now or at the time that suits you

i personally placed a small house and a small tower this week....i guess it would be easier if you take off trees and vegetation.
If you go through the forum history you will see that this is the correct assessment, would be a massive change that would have rabid response on both sides so I suspect at this point we won't ever see this changed. I personally can't understand that desire to have houses that have been vacant for years stand in the unlikely event someone shows back up after a 3 year hiatus or something but that's how it is. For any new players that find this, this is a great approach and I would add the following. 1. Go to the test server and get some deeds and go around and mess with placement to help learn what plants/rocks/vegetation can have houses cover them. You will be surprised at the amount of items on the map that can be covered and will suddenly open up the possibility of new spots. 2. Get to know the UOR house file, it updates daily and with some effort you can find houses that dropped and might have opened up a spot. A lot times someone might have been camping for the IDOC but you can get lucky or find empty houses that fall with no one placing something new. 3. Post in discord or on the trade forum with what you are looking for. Houses under Tower size don't have a lot of mark up unless they are in a premium location. Save up 20-30k over deed cost of your preferred house style and put out an ad to buy and check out what comes back. 4. Small houses, workshops, small stone towers, and even sandstone patios can be placed at anytime as long as you aren't picky about the location. Premium locations (mining, near moongates, near spawns, etc).
This. I've placed the equivalent of four villas and nine small houses (demolished, moved, downgraded, or sold for various reasons) by doing this. It may not get you the tower you want right away, but it gives you a home base.

Small houses I found possible places to place them, what caught my attention was to place the Large brick-sized house that due to irregularities in the terrain or space I was unable to place it. so i asked if anybody saw a hole where they could put themselves, and @FartBarf quickly solved the problem by giving me their place. I am new to the server and did not know that there was a home business but since I know I will act as you say. Thank you!!
