I was wondering what the current GM inscription perks are. I'm not sure about the Renaissance era, but I know some eras granted boosts to spell damage, etc. Based off of this information I will be able to determine which character of mine to place the skill on. ie: mage or crafter. Thank you in advance for all of your wisdom and advice.
Does Inscription give a bonus to defensive protective spells? Does it give a boost to spell damage? Yes, Inscription gives a bonus to the effectiveness of protective spells, such as Reactive Armor, Protection, & Magic Reflection. It does not, however, give an increased bonus to spell damage. Inscription is purely a defensive bonus skill. from the FAQ: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1283
I made sure to read through all of the FAQ's this time... thanks again Upgraydd, but it doesn't tell me what the exact defensive spell boosts are for having GM inscription. Does anyone know the difference in spell effectiveness/time of effect, of these spells between a GM mage with GM inscription and a GM mage without any inscription?
At GM level, inscription doubles the amount of damage on reflect/reactive armor and doubles the time on protection.
