IRC chatroom is something wrong with it? It's saying the owner of the server needs to download...

    IRC is telling me the server owner needs to download some daemon flash thing. Pretty sure I'm not the owner of the server but is there something I need to do to get it going again?? Thanks.

    This usually can be a sign of a missing update or a browser problem.

    I ran some tests from several browsers this morning and had no issues, however I have had players report this when their computer was infected with a virus, using an old browser or some other issue.

    Try clearing your internet history, using google chrome or if all else fails try using MIRC or some 3rd party application to connect to the chatroom.

    I run into this occasionally. When it happens, I just wait a bit and try again. When it does happen though, changing browsers doesn't help. No viruses or any other type of baddies on my computer either.

    Time is the only fix I have found for it!

    If it continues to give you trouble try using MIRC or a web service like Mibbit.

    They have helped players in the past who have had trouble.
