I think we should create an "Island Warzzz" event. (open to suggestions) ALL Participants Can Carry: 100 each reg / 100 Bandages / GM Weapons / Red Pots Only No armor, No mounts, No pouches etc. No summoning daemons etc. ONLY ITEMS ALLOWED ARE LISTED ABOVE. All participants wear same color robe only. Spectators will wear a different color robe It will work something like this: 1st : We will all meet at a designated town bank or maybe a reputable guild house (so reds can participate) 2nd: All participants will sign in with the coordinator and dye their robes the designated color AND they will join the guild stone provided to ensure no counts are given during this event (Thanks @Erza Scarlet for the idea) 3rd : Once we have separated the participants from the spectators - we will snoop everyone's bag to ensure compliance with set rules. 4th : We will do a final role call to ensure everyone is ready to begin 5th : The coordinator will have a predetermined rune on them for the event and will gate in SPECTATORS FIRST. The spectators will be required to stay on the coastline and observe without interfering. 6th : We will gate in the participants and the match will begin 10 seconds after entering the island. 7th : Once everyone is dead and the last person standing is determined, we will gate back to the guild house for an awards ceremony Soooo whats up? Would anyone be interested in someone like this? For a few years I've talked about a royal rumble with every man/woman for themselves...and now my idea has evolved into this.
Sounds cool, I bet many people would be interested. If I was around during the event I'd be in for sure!
Just my .02 but I wouldn't distinguish between dexers and mages. Just allow GM weapons, 100 bandages and 100 regs for everyone. A poisoned dexer with no reagents or potions is a dead duck.
I thought about something similar in form of a siege event. Ive seen problems in blue griefers however, and people dishing out counts. A format like that could be possible through guildwars in my opinion (add participants to different guildstones and let them war each other for example)
