Hey Everyone, Does anyone have any tips for taking down the tentacles in Khaldun? I've read the public harrower posts, but they didn't provide any insight for this particular situation. I tried lobbing explosion potions, but I would've needed a few kegs to do the job. Are tames the way to go? It seemed to eat my mare's HP. Obviously, I can't provo. Should I bring in an archer? Thanks!
A friend showed me a technique: Go with a kamikaze char close to the tentacle and put some object close to him, like a bandage then with chain lighting or meteor swarm(i dont remember) you target the bandages. The idea is be out of his range, the bandage i think would help you to get one or two tiles.
Just slam it with like 15 Molotov cocktails hehe. Buy liquor bottles, make oil cloth.. double click oil cloth then the liquor to make a Molly. Make a macro to throw them at your set target and let them fly. Cheap and easy
On OSI, we would release a WW down there and let it act as a tank while mages bombard w/ casts and Purple Pots. Assuming the leech cause the WW to attack. it should work here.
Meteor Swarm or Orc Bows work like a charm, basically anything that lets you hurt the tentacles out of their range They can't move so you can exploit some of those weaknesses via firewall, but it's very slow
