I have an idea for all of the leader board's, and would like to poll it with you all. 1. Being the top leaders of the board, such as PVP, or Treasure maps, or Biggest fish, etc, would earn you extra platinum each month. 2. This Idea sucks, and I don't want to see this. Please let me know what you think.
1 Edit: only thing I see bad about this is that staff would prob have to take the time to deliver the rewards.
I believe this idea would help facilitate growth and adventure in these areas, and put more people out in the fields playing.
Possible solution would be to add it to add it to the same way we receive Platinum from time spent on the Server each month. Just one solution.
I vote for 1 BUT there are a few stipulations. It would not be fair to receive rewards on mobs that can no longer be farmed. An example of this would be Halloween mobs.
Good to see you too Infantry! So more on this... Obviously we would need to limit the special spawn to month(s) it can be farmed. Total payout should be limited as well. Every mob eligible for competition should be competed over every 30 days. At the end of the 30 days, the counter would reset and the grind would start over. I am absolutely on board with this. I think it is a great idea to give people an additional reward for their farming efforts above and beyond their name on a leader board. With all of that being said, I do not feel like this should apply to Player vs Player combat. Although, I would love to have rewards for killing reds or blues or oranges or whatever... it can/will be horribly abused. I will make one reference to this case and that is a previous player here. When joining the server they farmed their own characters to overtake the PK leader board. The same can be said for the Factions leader board as well as others. I don't have faith that the abuse would be rampant if PvP combat was included.
