I recently bought a lucky charms because I wanted to try Keza's Ossytank playstyle, and thought lucky charms might be an ossytank on steroids. I've been enjoying playing with lucky charms, but I was curious how lucky would stack up vs ossy. Note that this is not meant to be scientific or rigorous, but a brief look at how they stack up, so please don't nitpick. Stats/Training: Lucky charms standard stats, high 90s tactics, wrestling, anatomy Ossytank: 144 hits, 68 dex, gm wrestling, low 90s tactics, anatomy In fighting a shadow iron elemental I tested 2, 2 minute intervals. Damage taken by ossy tank: 1st 2 min interval: 277, average hit 9.9, max hit 14, min hit 5 2nd 2 min interval: 287, average hit 9.25 max hit 13 min hit 5 Damage taken by lucky charms: 1st 2 min interval: 244, average hit 11.6, max hit 15, min hit 8 2nd 2 min interval: 247 average hit 11.2 max hit 15 min hit 8 Obviously not an apples to apples comparison given the slightly different training, but what was interesting is that ossytank was getting hit consistently more frequently but for less damage, though overall damage taken was slightly higher. I also had ossytank fight lucky charms a few times, and lucky charms did roughly 1.5x to 3x as much damage to ossytank as ossytank did to lucky charms over 3 1 minute periods (1.5x, 3x, 2x). Those numbers will be even more skewed due to not having trained dex to 100 on the ossy, however, training it to full should result in ~20% dps increase on the ossy, which still leaves lucky charms doing significantly more dps. Just for fun I had lucky charms fight a mostly trained nightmare, and it was a slaughter - I didn't get any stats but nightmare was whacking lc for 30s and mostly single digits on lucky vs nightmare. Wanted to share this in case anyone found it helpful, since I haven't seen anyone else post lucky charms battle stats of any kind.
The damage taken/given by the lucky charms really doesn't matter. It has 400hp and with 120dex and a vet loop they can take a beating!! It's basically a meat shield.
Yes, that's what I thought, but you don't really know for sure until you test since the rate of damage taken matters if causes you to exceed your sustained healing rate vs not exceeding it on the Ossy (which has the same sustained healing rate). If that happens, it's just a matter of time until the Ossy prevail when LC would die. Granted, these are not usually the situations you'll be in, but if say the LC took 50% more damage, the number of situations this could happen would go up. Since it's relatively close (and possibly even better for LC), the situations this is likely to occur in are truly minimal.
