Macos? Macros HI everyone, This is my first post on this forum so I hope I do everything right. I am so confused. I have tried to do macros repeatedly and I still have no clue what I am doing. Can anyone tell me what is the best source for "Macros for Idiots"? Websites? Guides? I need something that talks to me like I know nothing! Like I am a person that is not technical...AT ALL! Because I am not! Am I whining! Of course! Does that bother me? Well, heck, yeah! So any help will keep me from whining further. Thanks so much.
Everyone have his own way to make macros, you will need to discover yours... join in some discord chanel and start to ask macros for everything you need in your path. Take them, edit, adapt... this is how i learned.
The easiest way is to just experiment with them. We all have different ways we use macros. Some like to automate long chains of actions and make long complex macros, while others (like me) use short simple macros for the most part. Which category do you think you fall in? I assume based on the wording of your post that you have very little knowledge of Razor macros. If this is the case I highly recommend the already posted links to the Razor guide. This will give you a broad overview and also explain the basics. Unfortunately there isn't much out there on complex macros using the "If" and "For" logic that is written for the "dummy" since most people who are good with it are also programmers who don't think like normal humans... My advice is to read the macro section of the Razor guide, play around making simple macros in game, google "razor macros" and look at tricks/syntax others have used (you will have to ignore ones compressed into Razor code and look for ones that show how it appears in editor.. ), lastly I would advise asking specific macro related questions to zero in on your problem areas...
