I'm thinking about making a mage wrestler, but have a few questions. How comparable is wrestling damage to swords/maces/fencing? Do wrestlers need to waste a skill on Tactics as well? Is this a good build? Magery Meditation Evaluating Intelligence Wrestling Anatomy Arms Lore (some kind of wrestling bonus?) Poisoning? (for deadly poisons magery combo)
Wrestling is just to avoid getting hit and having your spells interrupted, it doesn't do any significant damage. Anatomy+eval also has this same effect. Also I should add, poisoning skill is essentially useless with how ez chugging potions is. The only benefit to have gm poison would be if you want to poison your own weapons on the fly or if you randomly run into someone that doesn't use razor macros
This build right here is the ideal PvP mage build IMO: Magery Med Eval Resist Wrestling Anatomy Healing Wrestling/Anatomy combo gives you access to Stun Punch ability. Healing gives you great survivability against dexers and can be used on the run.
