Can you effectively raise magic resistance by resisting the mindblast spell? It seems that lightning is only good until 65.0 (62.5 real), and I was j/w if the next step would be mindblasting oneself or skipping to 6th circle e-bolt? Thanks in advance
When is that event? Oh yeah, Mindblast does work for resist. I already had the regs so I burned them. 600 attempts at 5th circle by a char with low 60's magery & gm eval. So maybe 300 successes. The other char went from 65 to 67.8 (2.8 gain).
Event is on now. Get to Brit West or Occlo bank, get guard whacked, walk into the portal, walk into the house as a ghost and get resed (Stand near the aids) and make sure you change your pc setting to put monitor and not hdd to sleep and you should be good.
