hello. I recently noticed in this link http://www.uorenaissance.com/info/Masonry_Stonecrafting That they were implementing mining gloves giving a greater chance of ore elemental spawns. Does anyone know if this is in place yet? And what percentages based on the gloves? Thanks
I've killed a shadow ore elemental a few days ago. It dropped some ore that was heavy and couldn't pick it up, so it decayed I was west of Destard, in the forest. Actually, I'm not sure... Maybe it was an ore golem? I don't remember. But it did dropped ore.
@Xarathos if you used a gargoyle pickax it was an elemental, golems spawn from shoves or in golem caves, and yes they drop more ore then you can carry why I try to battle mine close to forges. If your looking at taking up battle mining pm me and I can give you some tips Also not sure about gloves giving more of a chance of elementals spawning first I had ever read that part lol guess I should read guides a little more closely.
Yeah I just noticed it when I was doing some research. I usually don’t wear the gloves when I mine. Wanting to see if I should start. Anyone have any info?
The mining gloves increase your mining skill and have no other tangible benefits as far as i am aware
shovels do not require mining skill to use and spawn golems, garg pickaxes I believe check skill the same as any other pickaxe. amount of ore is always about 50 ingots worth
Yes I’m just curious as to if the gloves increase the chances of spawning a elemental when using garg pickaxes
You would need to read the patch notes between 34 and now as it was a future patch to put that in. I am too lazy to search it.
