I have just been reading about a UO app you can play on your phone. The download is on the app store and googleplay. Its says fully authorised for UO Renaissance .... Search for "MOBILEUO" Does anyone know of this and is it a thing we can use ?? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobileuo.mobileuo&hl=en_US Thoughts and comments please.
This mobile client is based on ClassicUO, just ported into Unity to enable mobile support. The developer used UOR to test downloading and connecting as you can see here: Looking at the code, the mobile client pulls down the game files from the same place I have configured for the UO:R Launcher.
Its works great, at least for android OS. Needless to say, its heavily limited given UO´s nature, but It could become very handy if you are away for more than 14 days and want to refresh yours houses, or keep collecting bods as well. Oh, and you just need to download the app and then it will automatically download server files.
@Quick so its ok to use this, wont get us banned or anything. As @FisuUO:R said limited but great for house refresh if on vacation for more than 14 days for house refresh
Telamon hasn't said one way or another, but since ClassicUO is allowed on UOR, I don't see why this wouldn't be allowed.
