Hi we need Mailboxes badly. It's very hard to trade cross time one, since this is a world wids community can we please get this for mail trades. An auction house wouldn't go amiss either.
idea: plat REWARD house upgrade: a box that can be placed on the doorstep of a house which has a DROP ONLY feature. only the HOUSE OWNER (like the true house owner) can empty the box: if a trade would be done by mailbox. my counterpart would drop the item /goods (commodity deed) and a rune to his own mailbox so than i can drop gold there. yes this requires trust... but alot comes down to trust in trades... even with a non blessed item worth millions at bank is a risky business. as for the box: same props: 125 max items with secure limit or unlimited weight (lock down)
IDEA: 'UOPS' Create a UOPS NPC That sits at banks. When you say (Vendor Name) buy, he offers to sell you one of 3 items: Small 'Special Delivery' wooden crate (Single Item - unlimited weight) Cost 1000GP Medium 'Special Delivery' wooden crate (10 items - Unlimited weight) Cost 2500GP Large 'Special Delivery' wooden crate (125 items - unlimited weight) Cost 5000GP Senders Role: You place the items in the pouch from your pack or bank box and then say (Vendor name) drop off. He will ask you what it is that you are dropping off and you will have to target the pouches. A gump will then pop up asking you for the unique character ID off of the website for the player who will be collecting the item. You would copy and paste this off of the website after having agreed with the person you're trading with which character would be picking it up. He will ask you to then enter the price of the item. If paying in multiple currencies you would specify 116 plat, 12 H coin & 650k for example. Once complete the box will then be taken and stored in UOPS HQ Recipients Role: Once you have received word that your package is 'being held by the UOPS at the depot' either by a message from the seller via normal means of communication or a gump message appearing similar to the ones you receive form GM's you then go to one of the banks and say: (Vendor Name) Here to collect! The NPC will see your unique character ID and a gump will pop up similar to the trade window gump, auto open the box showing you the items for you to check and stating the payment amount. The recipient drops in the correct amount and the box is deposited into your bank box. Allows significantly more flexibility and security. As someone who's always running around trying to complete trades AND being from the UK, outside of 'normal' peak play times this would make me so god damn happy I'd shit.
