Hi, Im stuck at 68 (real) and got 20+ detect hidden (real), dont know if detect helps lockpicking or not but...i dont gain on 50/50 boxes anymore and cant open 70/70 chests...any advice what i cant do? I have read that the switch over from 50/50 to 70/70 boxes are around 70-76 (real skill)? I have 100 dex..does that play any part in why i wont gain any skill? Help is appreciated!
with 68 real skill you should be able to open 70 70 boxes I am pretty sure Maybe you mixed them up with 100 100 boxes?

The formula for LP bonus is simple... Detect hidden / 20 = bonus to LP actual I had the same problem but at 74.1 actual lockpicking with 77.0 shown. Cant get GM boxs open, and no more gains on 50/50 box... solution was to train DH to 38.5 in my situation. Hope that helps. PS Dex does play a role iirc...mine was around 45 when this happend. Dont know the specifics of dex, but lower is better from what I hear.
The lower your dex the closer your real and shown skills are. Therefore when you hit 95 LPing your real skill will be closer to that, shaving several decimals off the grind from 95-GM
