I am looking at setting up an area for new player housing once land rush begins. I plan on placing a small house and allow new players to be friended until they can get setup on their own. The house would have basic things such as forge and a few runebooks. I benefited from this on a different shard and would like to continue it here. If you would like to join in this or donate we can figure out a place to setup.
Why not place a fortress? There's 8 rooms for new players to secure with their own key. It'd be like a halfway house haha. A place for new players to meet and perhaps form an alliance.
both are great ideas. I might not be able to contribute gold, but I will make a couple of city rune books and maybe a spell book or two to place in the house. Donate some low level weapons and armor. etc :}
^^ Great idea. If we could all donate might/force weapons for each little newb room to get them started, they'd be far better off than we were. Maybe it'd keep them around
haha if we do all that they wont ever try to leave they will start their own reality show UO style. Before you know it will have to charge rent and cleaning fees.
I'm all in.. thing is, I'm only 1 day old here. Let me get a few weeks under me belt or so, and i'll be in more of a position to help. I am 100% a new player helper, have always been, and even here, it won't change. Making crafter toons so far, so i'll contribute if/when I can. When I'm on, Rokk is always on noob chat to help new folks.
Thanx for the offer, however I have a certain spot in mind and will drop a small or 2 at the location as soon as I am able. I would however, like to donate whatever I can muster up, in a few weeks, to help out.
I have setup a small house for new players. If you are just starting out let me know and I can friend you to the house. It will provide a good place to macro peacefully and get your chars built up. I dont have much setup in it right now but will have a small runebook library and forge etc.. setup soon enough For right now I only have one house eventually I will add a couple more. I am also accepting donations for this side project. House addons like forge etc... Maybe a starter bag with a few low end magic weapons and a couple hundred regs each and bandages.
Well it's been more than a couple weeks.. took longer than expected to level up a bit. Anyways, I can now donate house add-ons, furniture, weapons/armor, clothing, tools, ect. Hit me up in game and I'll make/donate whatever you need, minus reg's :lol: In game name's Rokk and you'll usually find me in minoc.
