Hello everyone! I just started playing here this past weekend, and I'm having a blast. As a newcomer, I really enjoy the young player program, but based on all the cool stuff I'm seeing around island I can't wait to see what else is out there! I'm also looking forward to placing a renaissance style house and finding a fun guild. I'd love to hear any tips on things to do or suggestions for places to visit once I'm out of noobtown! Quayle
Welcome ! If you like fishing there is a great fishing tourney going on. Good way to get some nice starter money and stuff!
Thanks! I should be GMing that today. I'm excited to see what the nets, taxidermy, and ancient mib stuff is all about! How do I participate in the tourney? Do I have to sign up somewhere?
Hey hey, welcome! No, you dont have to sign up for the fishing tourney, just head over the the event page and read the rules! http://uorforum.com/threads/fishing-tournament-fri-jan-16th-to-sat-jan-24th.7774/ AMIBS are amazing, so I hope you will be able to participate in one soon! ~Krake
Welcome to UOR. Live long (Platinum reward program for game time) and prosper (Sell to @Basoosh when he really really wants vet rewards and is willing to pay above market value). Also, carry heal/cure pots and make an escape macro for your PvM characters when you lose your New Player status. May Quayle never rage quit as a Gwai Lo!
Welcome to UO Renaissance Quayle. The first thing you're going to want to do is familiarize yourself with our compendium and our IRC channels. Both of these resources can be accessed by going to our main webpage at http://www.uorenaissance.com The IRC Channel is fairly simple to navigate, it's located on the upper left hand corner of the screen under 'IRC Chatroom'. Simply Click it, select a name for yourself, click 'Connect', and let the client do the rest as it will automatically connect you to the appropriate channels. 'The Compendium' Button is located further down the left of the screen. Once clicked, you will be taken to our main UO Codex, which will give you information on everything UO, from skills, to character templates, as well as programming the razor client to allow you to create macros to help you automate some of the more mundane tasks. It's very useful in preventing carpal tunnel syndrome. Enjoy!
Welcome Quayle! If you are interested, Project Sanctuary is a new player friendly guild welcoming you with help of gear, skills and hunting! You can look at their forum here: http://uorforum.com/forums/project-sanctuary-ps.74/ I've been apart of PS for over two weeks now and its been a great boost!
