Noob books?

Is there a way to get one of these?

I loved having a little red book on me at all times. I wrote death lists, templates that popped into my head, lists of things to do, guild members and their alt names, exc... Like EVERYTHING.

It even inspired me in real life to carry around a little spiral notebook and a pencil to help remember things I need to do.

Is there a way to get these in game?

Make an inscription character if I remember correctly.

Back in the day, you would get a small brown book with *every* new character... but people just dropped them on the ground. Love to see someone interested in this.

You do indeed get a large purple book with a new scribe. Should be noobed, but I guess I never tested.

Or you could just use Notepad...

It only had 20 pages too! I had one.

for a time, if you wrote anything in the book and dropped it on the ground, it went onto a bookshelf in a building somewhere in the land. There were lots of great stories and lore written by players
Not sure if this server is coded for that. I'll have to click on some books next time I see a shelf of them in an npc building.

i believe westra is opening a library with player written books

i also used the noob book. Friend list, pk list, anything else i need to write down. Valuable tool if used.
