Dug hard to see if this came up before, couldn't find any clues. Paid the jeweller in Occlo for training but dragged all 9000 of my gold to her. I'm all trained up to 27.5 now but she never gave me my change. Am I boned? Harsh lesson learned.
Ah, dang. I noticed that too long ago. I did that on osi ages ago, and during my feeling of remembering the old days arriving here, I intentionally dragged excess gold during the training process to see if I remembered correctly.. turns out yep, they just keep it. Also, if you wait so long after "npc name train whatevs" (around when the text above their head goes away) some npcs (and seemingly all hire attempts of an npc like a fighter and you wait to long) will just thank you for your generosity lol. It's a silly thing, apparently jewellery vendors are greedy af. Anyway I'm DoctorSatan on irc, I'll get ya the 9k back to train up. Welcome to uor!
