I couldn't really believe it.

Could this person have attacked and killed enough to support three vendors? Is there someone out there vile enough to have nothing else to do but travel around and ruin other people's hard work?

Could they do it often enough to have so much stolen goods to have a need for a storefront?

So I went. I couldn't help myself.

Weapons, goods, specialty items and even a few novelties...

My mind was with the person that was brutally slaughtered as they held their new broadsword of vanquishing. How much excitement did they feel when they opened the corpse of the evil Balron and saw this prize shining back up at them? Only to have it wrested from their cold grasp, smote down while slaying the monsters of the world.

I looked at the instruments...Was this blood on the harp that of the Ophidians the noble bard was slaying? Or was it the blood of himself as he was attacked from behind by a greater evil with no conscience or purpose...

Oh the rune books...custom made creations by numerous innocents, each one holding a story of that person's life. Each one showing a glimpse into that world. Some runes marked "destard"...was that where this adventurer was at when his screen was turned greyscale? And the runes marked "home"...This is where this person lived. This person carried this book to adventure, to work, to enjoy their own life in this world. Each runebook tells a story. I looked through the books, maybe to see someone's name I knew. Each one screamed louder and louder. "rune house", "home", "billy's farm!", my eyes well up with the tears for each..."cotton fields"? An entire book of cotton fields?

Riiiiight, you randomly appeared overnight with a keep that you already knew how to secure completly with stone ovens and stock full of junk, and a fully worked up pk who had runes to all popular farming locations, which you already knew about before you got here.

I did not appear over night. I've been playing UO since the late 1990s but I appeared on UOR a few weeks before Halloween and made most my "keep gold" in the first 6 weeks here by playing as a blue character (Pork Fried Rice - 5x mage, hide/track), very easy to farm with blade spirits, very easy to earn gold when you don't play peak hours.

I didn't have stoves until cA griefed my sheep farm 300000 times and saw how other people secured their homes. Runebooks? Go copy a runebook library lol. Keep full of stuff? It's called being a PK. If you ever played a pure-PK, you'd realize how easy it is to acquire loot.

Its not that hard to escape a lonely PK ...
The 3 or 4 times u tried to kill me i was able to recall easily.

People must remember how to play safe!!!
Always get magic reflect up, incoming name activated, emergency recall macro, a trapped pouch, potions and macro for all!!!
With that even the great prok wont kill you!
And i play with 220-250 ms ping!
