While the models looked a bit terrible.. The original 3d client that was released along side third dawn actually has some vast improvements on the traditional 2D client. Scroll-able containers, So you could increase the area where you can move items around inside containers. Scroll-able Journal, Make it tall, wide, w.e you want. Spell particles, Probably one of my favorite features of this client is the spectacular particle effects from casting spells. Swaying tree, The trees sway back and forth. Working Shadows for mobiles and trees. Ability to zoom in. More than 15 frames per second, lol. Other stuff i'm forgetting... Any who I just thought I'd share this screenshot. I know a ton of people hated the original 3d client, Mostly because of the terrible models. It is actually functional with razor! Edit: Some Gifs of just a few spell particle effects! Edit: I just want to say for the record that I don't play with the original 3d client. I use the 2d client installed with UOR files. I just wanted to show the original 3d client. that's all.
Wow is there a way to zoom out like that on the 2D client? It would be great to fit more space on the screen.
*coughs* I had to jump through a couple hoops to achieve that with the original 3d client. However you only achieve the same view distance as you can with the 2d client. 16 tiles in all 4 directions. So it would be the same view distance as you can achieve with razor "Force Game Size" enabled. To answer your question. No there is no way to adjust the screen like that for the 2d client. You'd need to raise your display resolution and or use a larger monitor.
