I have a BOD for ringmail. I have been making ringmail like crazy, all exceptional like it should be. So how come I can't get the BOD to count the ringmail I'm making?

As you may be able to tell, I am way new to crafting and have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to BOD's . Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

We'll probably need a screenshot of the BOD to know for sure.

Double check you're using the right kind of ingots.
Double check you're making the exact correct type of armor. (I've made 20 tall straw hats instead of 20 normal straw hats on several occassions)

To be honest, I've never been on IRC, and don't know how to get to it. One of those things I keep meaning to get to, but can never quite find the time when I remember about it.

The BOD is a large BOD for regular ringmail, full suits 10 or each item: gloves, sleaves, tunic, leggings. I will get a screen shot up tonight or tomorrow. I have filled a few of the regular BOD's with helmets, shields, etc.... but this is the first one asking for multiple types of items on one order that I've dealt with. I've tried making the requisite items and targeting them like I normally do, but it doesn' t work. I only get a message to combine this BOD with another BOD, and I'm not really sure what that means.

Thanks for the replies and the help.

You can only combine large BODs with small BODs. So if you have a large BOD that calls for 10x helm, you need to first fill a small 10x helm BOD.

Ah HA! And the mystery is solved!

Many many thanks. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get some small ringmail BOD's. (isn't small BULK order deed a bit of an oxymoron?)

I would ask how I go about that, but I imagine the answer is either random chance or buying them. Which ever it is, I wouldn't like it, so for the time being I will remain blissfully ignorant, so to speak.

Thanks again for the awesome replies and help.

When you turn in a bod you can immediately request a new one, regardless of pick-up timer. This is commonly called 'flipping'. People deep into the BoD game do this often with dozens of completed lower end BoDs.

The following BoDs do not fit into any larges:
All helmets EXCEPT for plate helm.
    All shields
    All female plate

Everything else, will fit a large BoD, if you find it.

Awesome. I can tell I'm just sticking my toe into the very shallow end of a very deep pool. Can't wait to see how it goes. I just got my tailor up high enough to start receiving BOD's too, so this should be fun.

Thanks for that info on the smaller BOD's too. I didn't realize wespon BoD's came in large and small sizes as well as armor. I'll have to start holding on to some of those too for future use.
