Hello Collectors, I'd like your advice on the possible value of this beautiful rare Ore Cart. As a miner I love it, but I would also like to get some rare books for the Trammel Library, so I'm wondering whether to sell or trade. I've checked through the Forum but find no information about sale value, except that Dalavar really wanted one. I remember Markos telling me something along the lines that it was one of the few things Dalavar would have killed for Now there's an obsession I can really understand! It would indeed, Erza, I completely agree, but I think it's reasonable that for a library that would first of all be books. I remember admiring Rezon's book collection and to be honest lusted over some of his rare books. I spend all my time IRL reading rare antique books, particularly about alchemy, so that's one reason I have so much fun developing the library downstairs and the laboratory upstairs. If you have any suggestions for other things that could be there, though, please fire away P.s. It is one of the gifts that Markos donated to the Trammel Library, wylwrk. If I do decide to trade it, it will be in order to get rare books for the Librarian, although Mad Professor keeps asking for something special like a bubbling flask for the alchemy laboratory. P.s. 5m seems reasonable to me for sure I don't usually do house rares, but this one is sweet! I'd definitely toss a bid in.
Okay, I've received one or two PMs about the Ore Cart. I'm not so much after cash (though that's always a help), but rares for the Trammel LIbrary, in particular books and tarot. Here's a selection of stuff I'd love to have there: Any of these would really add to the desks in the library and some of them sold for quite a lot less than guesstimates for the Ore Cart. I've already been offered two books in exchange, but the best-case scenario would be a combination of tarot and book. Thanks for looking (and for your patience), Azoth p.s. If it helps, here are some possible leads: I believe Gideon Jura has the tarots, Shadowjack should have some of those books, the red face down book I last saw still in the possession of Rezon. I tried to buy it but ran out of gold. Perhaps someone else bought it or maybe he still has it. Good luck!
Thanks, TC. Gideon does have both tarot and they look gorgeous, but he's hanging on to them (can't say I blame him). Is Shadowjack still around? I never see him on IRC anymore. Arnold has a few of ReZon's old books too ... he sent me shots of them in his deco ... *drool* I wonder who has the other tarot? There should be more than one, but I've no idea who else has them. If I do end up making a trade, I'll of course put up a post on the Trammel Library thread
