PIR Fishing Tournament Sat Aug 19th

Ahoy Sosarrrrrrians, we be splitting up our pirate booty and have decided to share with ye landlubbers. We will make ye work for it tho. Starting August 19th we will hold a 24 hour tournament for ye to fish for some of our treasures. Only 1 prize awarded per person and fish must be date stamped for the 19th 2023.

• Biggest Fish wins 1m gold and Fishing Pole
• Second Biggest Fish wins 100 plat and Fishing Pole
• Smallest Fish wins 1m gold and Fishing Pole
• Second Smallest fish wins 100 plat and Fishing Pole
• Fish closest to 59stones without going over wins 100 plat & Doubloon Reward Chest (1st 59stone fish automatically wins)

Timestamp on wining fish posts will determine order poles are chosen at the end of the tournament.

i apologyze for my ignorance, it is my first fisher event and i was waiting for it ansiouxly... do we have to go with the fishes somewhere or it will be automatically detected??

Take a screenshot of the fish showing name, date, and weight and post it here (probably - but look out in-case there is a different post for screenshots to be shared on)

Mounting the fish will remove some of the info, so don't do that until after the event/you receive your prize.

Screenshots are to be posted in here. I will be keeping track of times to determine the order the poles are chosen by the winners. I will require to see the fish when we meet for rewards. You can keep it after if you'd like to mount.

Pardon me. Could you define person a little bit further, please? e.g. "Only 1 prize awarded per person" A person is a player, or character?

In theory, could a player win up to three prizes because they had three separate characters who fished up the winning prize fishes?

A person is a player. Anyone trying to use multiple discords to win more then 1 prize will immediately be disqualified and banned from future events.

I fished for a couple hours with no luck (just a net and 2 tmaps). Would have helped if more than 1 fisher I had could fish up big fish (ok, one did reach 95.0 real in that time frame so now I have 2 , other is at 94.6 real). Good luck to everyone else! Not sure if I will get a couple more hours later or not...Thanks for the tourney!

Worse case I have a bunch of nets to do with my son if I don't get a big one. When he wakes up and we get a big one he will want to fish all day just to try to get one more.
