I want to run a stealth fencer with poisoned blades as a character. Will it make a difference in combat if I have my crafter have poisoning and poison for me or do I need poisoning on the dexer? Any help is much appreciated. Additionally, has anyone found this type of template to be any good, and if so what skills can I cram into that template? Trying to make something work. And if there IS a successful template for this, I could also use some experienced players to help me with starting skills/stats. I just joined the shard yesterday. Or is it better to go straight sword/LJ for a warrior type? I really like the sneaky playstyle though. Thank you!
Hail Wyrm, If by 'work' you mean 'work well in PvP' then the answer is likely no, unless you plan on stealth PKing newbies in dungeons and graveyards or rolling with a group of more than one of you. That said, a poisoning fencer is one of the most vicious pvp templates out there because they can reapply poison on the fly while fighting. Having a mule do your poisoning, you're going to either pack several weapons (not conducive to good weapon toggling) or deal with running out of poison charges in the middle of a fight. However, if you're attempting to go stealth it really sounds like you're inclined to be PKing, unless stealthing up to mobs and DPing them is your bag. You're talking Poison/Stealth/Hide/Fencing/Anatomy/Tactics/Magery? or drop Poison and do Eval/Stealth/Hide/Fencing/Anatomy/Tactics/Magery for a great opener but once your mana is done, so are you unless you got the kill combo done. Maybe Med instead of Eval and just pack half a dozen warforks all DPed by a mule. The ideal nox fencer is Fence/Tactics/Anat/Heal/Magery/Poisoning/Resist

I was maybe just into a more RP style and I remember on Atlantic I ran a spec like that and it was fun to hit and run on monsters like that. But good point, sounds like a one-trick pony.
