Is there any way we could get the poker system implemented into this server? I think it would add a fun element to the community as well as absorb quite a lot of currency, which I know some of us have quite a lot of. I played this on a diff server a long while back and it was a ton of fun! Any chance of this happening Telamon or any admin, or maybe it already exist and I just don't know about it?
It has been talked about and may still even be available to play around with on test. I don't think any hard plans have been made to get it implemented. However... we do have a poker "league" here or something of the sort. Players sign up over IRC, and play for in game gold over a 3rd party website. It has only been around for a few weeks but it is quite popular. They host tournament style or cash table games at least twice a week I think.
I'd love the details on it. I'm a huge poker/magic the gathering player as it is, so that would be cool for me!
