I'll take the stand of a new player, attempting to earn gold. If I make a tailor, cotton, wool, flax, hides are not hard to come by but some prices for items , I feel, are out of balance. If I make footwear, thigh boots sell for 7 gold, boots, 5 gold. Takes 10 hide to make thigh boots, 8 to make boots. A hind gives 8 hides, a cow 12 hides. Raw meat sold for 4 gold per at high end, low end was one gold per(last time I tried to sell it) Keeping in mind a new warrior and new tailor need to gain supplies and gold to obtain higher skills and outfit character. Lower level monsters which a newer player can kill, give very little gold. I remember the cobbler npc buying leather, here only tanners do, so makes it more difficult for newer player to find tanners, not every town has them. Cotton and flax sell for 41 gold per at high end and cotton for 30'something. Whenever I was a new player I have always sold whatever I found which was sell-able on whatever I killed. Since the game furnishes all manner of resources, I feel some of the prices for example, raw meat, should be more balanced to time takes to collect them. Take care and enjoy
