Real Estate Deed Refund

Discussion in 'Renaissance Discussion' started by Wise, Nov 24, 2012.

Do you like the current house deed refund system or would you like it changed to gold piece return?

  1. The way it is now is fine.

Does it have to come back in cheque form? It's so annoying selling the deed recalling back to back double clicking cheque recalling back to the carpenter buying the deed.

Is it possible to have the money returned in gold piece form?

The check payment is a damn nuisance.

Didn't it subtract the total from the checks if it needed to?

This is on my todo list to look into. The way it is working now is not optimal (it is for the item count) but otherwise we either need the purchase to utilize bank checks or the gold to be placed as stacks instead.

Truth to be told, I would much rather have checks being able to be used while purchasing. Its rather annoying having to empty out the bank to cash in the cheques first and i dont see any downside in allowing this.

So what I am saying is, if i have a 1 million gp check in my bank and NO gold. I should be able to buy things with gold getting deducted from the cheque.

If the architect subtracted from the cheque it would be 100% cool. I don't care what form the money is in while in my bank box. The annoying thing is having to recall back to the bank and back to architect instead of buying a new deed right away.

This land rush was nerve wrecking enough!

    Cheers

I think the best idea is to have amount deducted from the check. If I recall correctly from day of yore,
if bank was almost full, you would only receive part of your refund from house deed in gold, than a check for gold amount wouldn't fit.

Again, thanks for all the hard work

If I remember correctly u get golds back in bank on UOSA even tho you have maximum items, 125, in bank.
You will not be able to put in any gold yourself, or other items, if you have 125 items but a deed sell would exceed maximum allowed items in bank.

I might be wrong tho, have happend before :)

Gold in the top level of your bank box doesnt count against the item count in your bank on UOSA.

Just make checks be a viable option for funding deeds.

If you have a check for 1m in your bank and buy a deed for 500k, you now have a 500k check in the bank...

Seems to be the most efficient option while stile keeping item count down.

Yes, please put this option on the poll so I can vote for it...
money, in either form (gold and/or checks), should count as currency, and be used, as such.

Finally... it's about time you guys get off your lazy rears and actually get some work done...

Last I checked you still need to double click the cheque in the bankbox to release the gold.

No rush but a fix would be nice, swapping house types right now is heart-attack nerve wrecking (for those who can't afford both deeds at once lol).
