Photography Project We are looking for players to take and submit, en mass, pictures of various creatures in their natural habitats. The pictures will need to be to the following specifications. Larger than 800x800. Uncompressed format (png) Display the targeted monsters name (single click, vs allnames) Include a very brief description of the picture. (Picture of a dragon in the dungeon destard) Include the radar for specific spawn locations, but not required for more common monsters. The images will need to be provided in a raw format in bulk. The Renaissance staff will convert them to standardized 800x800 watermarked images to server as the basis of our updated compendium. Dropbox, Email, or other methods will work to turning in the images. If you wish to help with this project an have questions about turning in the images feel free to contact me. Do not attack the images to forum posts as the forum system does not allow for images that large. Note: Down the road we will allow for players to upload and attack their own images. The images will also be used to create the new compendium master images for creatures. So make sure the center part of any image is clear of obstructions, players, etc. They will be tagged to the various monsters in the compendium and also be used to create our new master images for all monsters. You can view of a preview of the new compendium with image links here. http://www.uorenaissance.com/info/Dragon/test Some example of the final product. Each image will be standardized and watermarked to become part of Renaissance. Creative Writing Project For this project we will be looking for players to write and submit creative descriptions for each of the creatures in the world. These will need to be unique to the Renaissance experience and cover a few subjects. Simple description of the creature. Description of where they are commonly found. Inclusion of lore about the creature related. Example: Great Hart Example Dragon: The bulk of these examples were lifted from other sources. What we are looking for is new information specifically for UO:Renaissance. Just use those examples as inspiration. Stealing/Copying information from existing sources will not help us . The goal would be to provide so useful information, any available/known Ultima lore (Including previous ultima games). Small snippets of useful information from existing sources are fine. We would also want to include some additional information on other variations, taming quests, hunting tactics, and just general player experience that could prove informative for players in general. Below will be a list of all of the creature we need descriptions for. As they are provided I will cross them out on the list. To submit an entry just reply with it in this thread. (You can use 1 post for multiple entries). Rewards Players will be rewarded with specially named platinum statues ranging from 1 to 10 platinum in value for their contributions. Your name will also be included forever in the compendium as the original author of the description.

Rudolf http://www.uorenaissance.com/info/Rudolph Many know Rudolph as the kind hearted red reindeer that led Santa's sleigh on a particularly foggy Christmas Eve. This is a lie. Rudolf is an extremely dangerous reindeer who is out to flamestrike your Christmas plans in the face. Throughout the Christmas season Rudolph can be found all throughout the lands, not delivering presents, but guarding scrolls to Santa's Lair and looking for victims to deliver its wicked magical combos and melee damage to boot. This hard hitting red caribou has a shrill ear piercing battle cry that will sound constantly should you make the mistake of battling it. Make no mistake, Rudolph will stop at nothing to prevent you from getting into Santa's Lair. Even should one manage to defeat Rudolph and rip the red scroll from his stinking reindeer corpse, one would still find another incarnation of Rudolph waiting inside Santa's Lair for chance to spill your blood.
